I am really happy with my audio rack. It has the look of being “custom made” rather than having come off some assembly line. I like the fact that the shelves are real and solid wood. The shelves are beautiful. The wood is nicely stained and finished. The construction is extremely sturdy. I will always have this shelf as both a functional and beautiful centerpiece of my living room.
I am also very satisfied in another way. My money did not go to some huge corporation where much of the profit would not find its way (and thus not be able to stimulate) the local community where manufacturing was carried out. All of the proceeds went directly to the lone individual who performed every bit of the “American made” work.
This was a classic win-win.
